Amalia Papachristopoulos, Project Manager

Amalia’s family background is Greek-American. She spoke Greek at home, but learnt English in school, growing up in New York City. Amalia studied French and Italian in college and got a BA in language and literature from Bard in 1995. In 2000 she got certified to teach English as a Second Language and worked at the National Greek University in Patras, Greece. She has been with TransLingua since 2007 as a project manager and is in charge of credentials evaluations, transcription, translation, and consecutive and simultaneous interpretation assignments at TransLingua’s New York office.
